Adafruit Feather RP2040 RFM69 868MHz

Introducing the Adafruit Feather RP2040 RFM69 Packet Radio (868 or 915 MHz). Known as RadioFruits, it combines a microcontroller with a packet radio transceiver, USB, and battery charging. Ideal for wireless networks, it's more flexible than Bluetooth LE and less power-hungry than WiFi.

Like its namesake, Feather is thin, light, and portable. It features an RP2040 chip with 8MB QSPI FLASH and 264K RAM, great for wireless sensor nodes. With a connector for lithium-polymer batteries and built-in charging, it's perfect for portable projects.



The 900 MHz RFM69 version offers transmission/reception at 868MHz or 915MHz. It dynamically tunes the radio frequency based on software settings. The Feather RP2040 Packet Radio includes an RFM69HCW high-power 868/915 MHz radio module.

It's designed for small data packet transmission with a range greater than 2.4 GHz (BT, BLE, WiFi, ZigBee). For extended range, directional antennas and settings adjustments can be made.
