Single 8-channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer - HCF4051
The HCF4051 is a high-performance 8-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer designed for digitally controlled signal routing. Ideal for analog signal switching, this IC uses MOS technology to achieve low ON resistance and minimal leakage when OFF. With three binary control lines and an inhibit input, users can easily select one of eight input/output lines. Its low power dissipation and wide signal compatibility make it suitable for both analog and digital systems.
This IC is excellent for signal selection in data acquisition, sensor systems, and audio routing, providing high linearity and robust performance across a wide supply voltage range. The HCF4051 comes in a standard 16-pin DIP package, compatible with breadboards and PCBs.
