NE555 + CD4017 Running Light Kit

The kits' main circuit and decimal counter circuit is generated by the clock, by the NE555 as the core of self-excited multi-vibrator power through R2, R3, R4 to charge the capacitor C1. When C1 begins charging, NE555 2 feet will still be in low state, so the output pin 3 goes high when the supply by R2, R3, R4 to charge C1 to 2/3 of the power supply voltage, the output pin 3 will change state from high to low.
NE555 internally discharges conduction to the capacitor C1 through R4, R3. NE555 7 feet will discharge until the voltage across C1 is less than 1/3 of the power supply voltage. NE555 3 feet level will change from low to high C1 and recharge. This cycle forms an oscillation. Charging time of 0.695 (R2 + R3 + R4) C1, discharge time of 0.695 (R4 + R3) C1, R4 may be adjusted to control the output frequency of the oscillator. The oscillation clock signal is applied continuously NE555 CD4017 14 feet. On 10, CD4017 is connected with the output of 10 LED, when 10 turns the output of CD4017 to a high level, it is applied in the clock signal, the D1 - D10 are sequentially lit to form water lights effect.
Adjusting the flow rate can be adjusted with R4 LED lamps.
