Differences between Nano C100 and Jetson Nano B01
- Both the Nano C100 and the Jetson Nano B01 have the same size and basic configuration.
- They consist of two boards: a system-on-module (SOM) with NVIDIA's SoC mounted on it, and a carrier board
- The Jetson Nano B01 SOM board is equipped with a microSD card slot for OS boot storage.
- The Nano C100 SOM board uses the mass production module "NVIDIA Jetson Nano Module".
- The Nano C100 has a microSD card slot on the carrier board
Initial setup of Nano C100
- Download the OS image file from the following page and write it to the microSD card.
- OS Image file provided by OKdo (Ubuntu-based) https://auto.designspark.info/okdo_images/c100.img.xz
- We recommend balenaEtcher as a tool for writing OS image files. Etcher is a free software that supports Windows/Linux/Mac
- Insert the microSD card into the Nano C100 and start it. The bootloader will be automatically written to the eMMC when you start it for the first time.
- Once that is complete, reboot the device.
- Once the bootloader has been written, the device will be bootable in the following order of priority: microSD card > eMMC.
- This procedure is required the first time you boot the device, even if you boot from eMMC.
- When booting from eMMC, the default username and password is "nano".
