Heater Element 220V 60W - 6x40mm
Cartridge heaters have high temperature lead wires that can stand temperature of up to 450̊°C. The high impact ceramic cap suitable for high vibration applications and the deep holes in ceramic cap prevents fraying of lead when bent. The heater uses nickel-chromium resistance wire for maximum heater life. Cartridge heaters are most frequently used for heating dies, platens, molds, and other metal parts by insertion into drilled holes. They can also be used in liquid immersion applications.
In order to obtain optimum performance from these products, it is advised that temperature sensing and control elements be used with them. Designed to provide localised heat to a restricted work area requiring close thermal control. Cartridge heaters have low/moderate watt density elements consisting of helical wire coils on ceramic former or high watt density elements with the heating element located close to the sheath, which is swaged to improve heat conduction.
