B706 UART 4x4 Keypad - Full Metal
The B706 4x4 Keypad is a high-durability stainless steel keypad designed for demanding industrial and public applications. Featuring a compact 4x4 layout with metal dome keys, it delivers precise tactile feedback and exceptional longevity with over one million keystrokes per button.
This model communicates via an onboard USB-to-Serial converter and appears as a virtual COM port (USB CDC device) when connected to a PC. It connects using the included USB cable via the JST connector and is intended for systems with USB host capability. It does not expose raw TTL UART (TX/RX) signals for direct connection to standard microcontroller UART pins.
With an IP65 waterproof rating and IK09 vandal resistance, the B706 is well suited for harsh environments such as ATMs, kiosks, access control systems, and outdoor control terminals.
