Teensy 4 Audio Shield - Rev D
The Teensy 4 Audio Shield (Rev D) is the perfect companion for the Teensy 4.0 development board, enabling high-quality audio input and output for your next sound or music-based project. Powered by the SGTL5000 stereo codec with headphone amplifier, this shield delivers 16-bit audio at a 44.1kHz sample rate—ideal for WAV playback, real-time FFT, and effects processing using the Teensy’s powerful Cortex-M7 core and built-in DSP instructions.
With support for simultaneous input and output, you can create advanced audio systems with synth waveforms, multiple stream mixing, and CD-quality playback. The shield includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD slot for storing and accessing audio files, and optional footprints for a 25k volume control potentiometer and additional flash memory. Headers are not pre-soldered, giving you flexibility for integration into your custom setup.
Note: Teensy 4.0 must be purchased separately to use this shield.
