Proximity Inductive Sensor Range 8mm 6-36V - M12

The Inductive Sensor Probe LJ12A3-8-Z/BX is capable of detecting metal without contact, and is often used in 3D printers to read or adjust the level of the Print Bed, including the RAMPS 1.4-based machines. This sensor helps identify any warping or sagging of a print bed and provides the necessary data for the firmware to readjust the Z endstop to accommodate for these subtle differences in height.



The benefits that this sensor provides includes better first-layer adhesion on large or simultaneous prints, greater accuracy for the firmware to print ultra-thin layers, as well as less hassle as you don’t need to manually readjust your Z endstop as the bed subtly warps over time.
