MCP73871 Solar Battery Charging Board
The MCP73871 Solar Charging Board is ideal for DIY solar-powered projects. This charger offers a seamless solution for Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery management with solar and USB power source options. It is also capable of autonomous power source selection between input and battery. Along with its small physical size, the low number of required external components makes the device ideally suited for portable applications.
Designed for solar charging, it efficiently utilizes available sunlight to charge batteries. Just connect a 3.7V/4.2V Li-Ion battery and a 6V solar panel, place the panel outdoors, and you're ready to charge. It can power another project simultaneously through the load output port.
