SparkFun Lightning Detector - AS3935
The SparkFun Lightning Detector brings lightning detection to your weather station, alerting you to hazardous weather up to 40km away. Powered by the AS3935, it offers accurate storm front detection within 1km using a finely-tuned antenna at 500kHz.
This detector is designed to minimize false positives, but if needed, you can customize settings via the lightning detector library. It allows for fine-tuning of storm sensitivity, indoor vs. outdoor detection, and configuring the number of lightning strikes required to trigger alerts, providing robust performance in various environments.
