DF Robot Turbidity Sensor
The DF Robot UART Non-contact Optical Turbidity Sensor provides a non-intrusive way to assess water quality by measuring turbidity levels. Relying on advanced optical technology, this sensor detects light transmittance and scattering within a clear cylindrical container, measuring turbidity without direct exposure to liquid. It is suitable for containers with diameters of 40–50mm, and data is transmitted as a UART data frame, allowing efficient integration into monitoring systems.
Designed for durability, the sensor uses two infrared probes positioned on opposite sides of the container to monitor liquid turbidity levels when filled above the probes. Its non-contact approach minimizes exposure to potentially corrosive substances, ensuring longevity and reliability for water quality applications.
