DF Robot 10m Human Presence Sensor

The DF Robot 10m Human Presence Sensor is an advanced mmWave radar module designed to deliver true presence detection beyond the limitations of traditional PIR sensors. Using 24GHz FMCW radar technology, it can accurately detect not only motion but also micro-movements such as breathing and chest movement, enabling reliable detection of stationary occupants. This makes it ideal for smart lighting, HVAC automation, security systems, and Home Assistant–based smart environments.



With a detection range of up to 10 meters for stationary presence and 11 meters for motion, the sensor provides highly accurate occupancy awareness even in scenarios where users are sitting, sleeping, or working quietly. Its wide 120° field of view, configurable detection zones, and intelligent environmental filtering ensure stable performance while minimizing false triggers from background movement. Designed for seamless integration, it supports UART output and is fully compatible with ESP32 and ESPHome ecosystems for fast deployment in smart home applications.
