VEML7700 Ambient Light Sensor - I2C

The VEML7700 Ambient Light Sensor Module is a high-precision 16-bit digital light sensor that directly outputs illuminance in Lux (Lx). Unlike traditional photoresistors, it features an integrated high-sensitivity photodiode, low-noise amplifier, and A/D converter, eliminating the need for complex calculations. With I2C compatibility, it offers an easy plug-and-play solution for ambient light measurement in smart lighting, display brightness adjustment, and environmental monitoring applications.



With a wide measurement range of 0-120,000 Lux, this sensor operates efficiently at low power consumption (45µA active, 0.5µA in shutdown mode), making it ideal for battery-powered devices. It supports 3.3V to 5V power supply, allowing seamless integration with microcontrollers and development boards.
