Wave IoT GSM E-Paper Board for Pi

This is a Raspberry Pi IoT driver board for e-Paper raw panels. It allows getting text/image data from IoT clouds through NB-IoT/eMTC/EDGE/GPRS network connection, and then display them on the e-Paper.

The HAT features an onboard SIM7000E module, controlled via UART, supports NB-IoT/eMTC/EDGE/GPRS communication. The e-paper interface is controlled via SPI, compatible with various Waveshare SPI e-Paper raw panels. The HAT also supports Raspberry Pi series boards using standard Raspberry Pi 40-PIN GPIO extension header.

    • NET: network status indicator
    • Charge: charge indicator, light up when charging, off when fully charged
    • Warning: battery reverse connection warning
  14. PWRKEY Button: SIM7000E on/off
  15. BOOT Button: enable battery power supply
  16. SIM7000E Power Supply Selection: the SIM7000E can be powered from Raspberry Pi 5V or lithium battery 3.7V
  17. e-Paper Configuration: configured according to the connected e-Paper
    • A: for 1.54inch e-Paper, 2.13inch e-Paper, and 2.9inch e-Paper
    • B: for other e-Paper
  18. Operating Voltage Selection: 3.3V or 5V
  19. SPI Selection
    • 0: enable 4-wire SPI (default)
    • 1: enable 3-wire SPI
