Arduino Uno 5V WS2812B 8x8 Matrix Example

It lights one LED at a time on the 8×8 WS2812B matrix.

The red LED moves from LED 0 to 63, then repeats.

  • matrix.clear() turns all LEDs off.
  • setPixelColor() makes one LED red.
  • show() updates the matrix.
  • delay(100) waits 100 ms between steps.
#include <Adafruit_NeoPixel.h>

#define LED_PIN 6
#define NUM_LEDS 64

Adafruit_NeoPixel matrix(NUM_LEDS, LED_PIN, NEO_GRB + NEO_KHZ800);

void setup() {
  matrix.begin();
  matrix.setBrightness(50);
  matrix.show();
}

void loop() {
  for (int i = 0; i < NUM_LEDS; i++) {
    matrix.clear();
    matrix.setPixelColor(i, matrix.Color(255, 0, 0));
    matrix.show();
    delay(100);
