The Wave 18650 UPS Module - 5V5A is a 3S uninterruptible power supply (UPS) module designed for stable and reliable power delivery. It supports simultaneous charging and discharging, providing a steady 5V/3.3V output ideal for mobile robots, Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, and industrial control applications. Real-time monitoring via I2C communication allows users to track battery voltage, current, power, and IP address.
Equipped with multiple safety features, including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection, it ensures safe and stable operation. The module also features equalizing charge technology for balanced battery performance. LED battery status indicators help monitor proper battery connections.

Important Information
Note 1: When mounting the battery for the first time, you need to pay attention to whether the LED is on. If the LED is on, it means that the corresponding battery is reversed. Do not charge the battery if it is reversed.
Note 2: There may be no power output when the battery is connected for the first time. You need to press the BOOT button on the circuit board to activate the battery protection chip to have power output.
Note 3: Use the power supply configured by the product to charge. Using other power supplies may cause the product to be damaged if the output power ripple is too large and unstable.
Note 4: If the positive insulation pad of the battery is broken, it is recommended not to continue to use it, which may cause a short circuit and fire. When removing the battery, do not use a screwdriver to pry the positive pole of the battery, which may cause a short circuit, and pry the negative pole of the battery

- Polarity Matters: Always connect the battery with the correct polarity when charging or discharging. Reversed connections can cause damage or hazardous situations.
- Use Quality Chargers: Only use high-quality chargers or charging panels to recharge the battery. Inferior chargers can compromise safety.
- Battery Compatibility: Ensure that the battery specifications match those required by your expansion board before purchasing. Choose batteries from reputable manufacturers and verify their stability and safety through aging tests.
- Avoid Mixing Batteries: Do not use old and new batteries together, and avoid mixing batteries from different brands.
- Battery Lifespan: Lithium batteries have a limited cycle life and degrade over time. Replace them once they reach their maximum cycle life or after two years of use—whichever comes first.
- Proper Storage: Store batteries carefully in a safe location, away from flammable or explosive materials and out of children's reach to prevent accidents due to improper handling.
