The DFRobot Fermion BMP581 Barometric Pressure Sensor is built around Bosch Sensortec’s latest-generation BMP581 chip, delivering exceptional accuracy, temperature stability, and ultra-low power performance. With an absolute pressure accuracy of ±0.3 hPa and ultra-low noise below 0.1 Pa (RMS), this sensor can detect subtle altitude changes—precise enough to distinguish building floor levels or monitor small pressure variations in dynamic environments.



Engineered for advanced IoT and motion-sensitive applications, the module features configurable IIR filtering and a built-in FIFO buffer to suppress noise and maintain smooth, reliable data output. Its ultra-low 2μA sleep current makes it ideal for battery-powered devices, while support for I2C, I3C, and SPI ensures seamless integration with a wide range of microcontrollers.
