PZ Bootlace Ferrule Crimp Tool 0.25 - 2.5mm
The PZ Crimp tool is an economy crimp tool for bootlace ferrules. The Crimp tool covers ferrules sizes of 0.25, through 2.5mm (ferrule sizes indicate applicable wire cross sectional area). The crimping tool is great for low volume work. We recommend testing crimps for retention after crimping as this tool does not provide a ratchet controlled crimp force mechanism. Always select the correct sized ferrule to ensure correct wire/ferrule contact after crimping. The crimped shape is trapezoid with grip ribs on one surface. Smaller ferrules may tend to one flat and one round face.
