The DF Robot FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 AI Development Kit is a high-performance edge AI and HMI development platform designed for advanced vision, multimedia, and interactive applications. Built around the powerful ESP32-P4 dual-core RISC-V processor, it delivers exceptional computing capability with single-precision FPU support, AI instruction extensions, and a professional-grade multimedia engine capable of hardware-accelerated H.264 video encoding at up to 1080p@30fps. This makes it ideal for AI cameras, smart displays, digital signage, and intelligent control panels requiring real-time video and graphics processing.



To maximize flexibility, the FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 supports both MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI interfaces for high-resolution camera input and display output, alongside parallel interfaces for broader peripheral compatibility. Wireless connectivity is handled by an onboard ESP32-C6 co-processor, providing next-generation Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 while freeing the main processor for AI and media workloads. The included IO Expansion Board simplifies rapid prototyping with clearly labeled, stable interfaces, allowing developers to focus on software development rather than wiring complexity.
