DF Robot Gravity PAV3015 Air Velocity Sensor

The DFRobot Gravity PAV3015 Air Velocity Sensor is a compact, solid-state anemometer designed for accurate and responsive airflow measurement in embedded systems. Built around the Posifa PAV3015D sensor, it operates using the thermopile principle—measuring temperature differentials to calculate air velocity—eliminating moving parts for improved durability and reliability over traditional cup-style anemometers.



With a measurement range of 0–15 m/s, ±5% full-scale accuracy, and a fast 125 ms response time, this sensor delivers precise real-time airflow data for applications such as server cooling, HVAC monitoring, and UAV airspeed detection. Its low 10 mA power consumption and standard Gravity I2C interface ensure easy integration with popular development platforms including Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi, making it ideal for compact, low-power, and portable systems.
