Adafruit Thermocouple Amplifier - I2C

The Adafruit Thermocouple Amplifier – I2C is a high-precision breakout board designed to simplify temperature measurement using thermocouples. Built around the MCP9601 (MCP96L01) amplifier, it handles all complex analog processing and cold-junction compensation internally, allowing you to easily read accurate temperature data over a simple I2C interface. This makes it ideal for applications ranging from industrial monitoring to scientific experiments and high-temperature projects.



Compatible with a wide range of thermocouple types (K, J, T, N, S, E, B, and R), the module offers excellent flexibility for measuring temperatures from cryogenic levels to extreme heat. With built-in level shifting, a 3.3V regulator, and support for plug-and-play STEMMA QT connectivity, it integrates seamlessly with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers, enabling quick and reliable setup with minimal wiring.
