Pololu RC Isolated Switch – 30V 11A

The Pololu RC Isolated Switch – 30V 11A is a compact solid-state relay designed to safely control high-current loads using a low-current control signal. Acting as a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch, the module can be activated with control voltages from 2.7V to 40V, making it suitable for a wide range of embedded, robotics, and automation applications. Its solid-state design offers silent operation and eliminates mechanical wear and arcing commonly associated with traditional relays.



Switching is performed by a pair of back-to-back MOSFETs driven through an optically isolated driver, providing full galvanic isolation between the control circuit and the load. This configuration allows bidirectional current control and enables the switch to be placed on either the high side or low side of a circuit. With the ability to handle up to 11A at voltages up to 30V, this module is ideal for controlling motors, lighting, pumps, or other high-current loads while maintaining electrical isolation and reliable long-term operation.
