DF Robot SimpleFOC Mini Brushless Motor Driver Board
The DFRobot SimpleFOC Mini is a compact, high-performance driver board designed for precise control of Brushless DC (BLDC) motors. Powered by advanced Field-Oriented Control (FOC) technology, it enables real-time closed-loop control of motor position, speed, and torque with exceptional smoothness and efficiency. Despite its ultra-compact 26 × 21.5mm footprint, the board supports a wide 8–30V input range and delivers up to 2.5A per phase, making it ideal for demanding motion-control applications.
Unlike traditional ESCs, the FOC algorithm ensures stable low-speed operation, ultra-smooth commutation, and significantly reduced noise and vibration through sinusoidal drive control. The board supports torque, speed, and position control modes, enabling high-precision robotics, gimbal systems, haptics, and automation projects. With native 3.3V and 5V logic compatibility and full integration with the SimpleFOC open-source library, it provides seamless support for Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi development environments.
